She joined the CPI team in 2025.
Tamilore began her career with degrees in Architecture (Covenant University) and Urban Design (University of Kent). She spearheaded urban resilience and development projects in local nonprofits in Lagos, Nigeria, supported by international organizations like GIZ and the Heinrich Böll Foundation. She holds a Master of Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government (University of Oxford), where she researched how community-based lessons can inform government policies for social transformation at scale.
From 2019 to 2023, Tamilore managed a USD 40M+ grants portfolio for Google’s technology-focused philanthropic team, leading strategic giving in Emerging Markets across EMEA. Her focus was on improving economic well-being in underserved communities through technology-based initiatives like AI and digital skills training. She currently coordinates the Oxford Programme for Cyber and Tech Policy (OxCTP), focusing on research to help governments responsibly adopt emerging technologies at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity.
Tamilore leads the AI Opportunity Fund at CPI and is excited to leverage her cross-sector experience in social impact, technology, and cities to support philanthropies and governments in reimagining government. She also provides strategic advisory for Afro Tech Girls (ATG), a nonprofit she has volunteered with for a decade to increase the participation of girls and young women in STEM. Tamilore recently launched Emergent Scale, a newsletter exploring innovation and labor markets, and the video podcast “Africa, Which Way Employment?”, dedicated to spotlighting solutions to youth unemployment.
