Amy Sit (she/her)

Senior Associate, North America

Amy is Senior Associate at Centre for Public Impact.

She joined the CPI team in 2025.

Amy has a BA in Development Studies from Brown University and an MBA from Quantic School of Business & Tech.

Amy won a $10,000 grant from the US Department of State to design and implement a hybrid climate leadership for 60 youth from Nigeria, Indonesia, and the US. The program combined virtual learning sessions with local community projects and biodiversity field trips. Her favorite part was teaching participants about how to apply design thinking to creating their project capstones.

Amy also had the opportunity to lead a team to design & build a micro-lending app for a Ugandan nonprofit that helps rural Ugandan women entrepreneurs access funding to start or scale their businesses. The best part for her was getting to work with local staff, leaders, and women to iteratively design for their unique cultural, technological, and organizational context.

Amy is excited about the work CPI is doing to help cities design programs that better serve their residents. She believes that lasting change in institutions often starts from within — so by equipping public servants the mindsets, tools, and spaces to try co-creative, human-centered approaches, we’re enabling the broader systems change that can lead to more responsive, equitable services that truly reflect the needs of communities.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys creative pursuits such as doodling, dancing, writing, and singing, to name a few; being active and in nature, ideally at the same time; trying new wacky food combos; travelling; facilitating dialogues to foster human connection and understanding across divides.
