Senior Associate, North America
Annamarie Oommen is a Senior Associate with the North America team at Centre for Public Impact.
They joined the CPI team in 2023.
Anna Oommen brings a lifelong commitment to change-making, first sparked by organizing annual student walkouts at their hometown high school. Their work has since included farmworker solidarity efforts, Democratic coordinated campaigns in Washington and Oregon, organizing with the Stand Up to Oil Coalition, gun violence prevention policy, reproductive health care defense, corporate accountability, workers’ rights advocacy, and leading equitable data analysis and research programs.
Anna holds a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the University of Washington and focuses on human-centered strategy, meaningful community engagement, and reimagining government systems to better serve diverse communities.
In their free time, Anna celebrates queer art and looks for cool rocks at the beach.
