Carla Williams (she/her/hers)

Interim Senior Manager, People and Culture

Carla Williams is Interim Global Senior Manager with the People and Culture team at Centre for Public Impact.

She joined CPI in 2022.

Carla has an MA in International Disaster Psychology from the University of Denver. She studied Global Mental Health Systems, International Public Health, Program Evaluation, and Career Counselling.

Carla worked for Arlington County at a COVID testing site in 2020 to provide testing for underserved communities.

At CPI, she is passionate about DEIB, Policies and Procedures, research, and surveying.

She likes supporting others to use CPI’s policies to enhance people’s wellbeing in the workplace. She developed travel and safety guidelines for our staff and has worked to create staffing databases to establish ways to track individual and team capacity. She also co-authored the CPI grievance and complaint policy along with the rest of the People and Culture team.

In her leisure time, Carla enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and time outside, especially camping, hiking, and playing volleyball.
