Interim Global Director, Communications and Impact
Elysa Neumann is the Interim Global Director for Communications and Impact at the Centre for Public Impact.
She joined CPI in 2024, after working alongside the team as a contractor for several years.
Elysa has a BA in International Area Studies and Sustainable Development from Washington University in St. Louis.
She founded and led a successful boutique marketing, communications, and branding agency for more than 5 years.
Elysa is passionate about CPI North America’s emerging work on gender equity and support for women and children in systems. She is passionate about the need to showcase governments who are making strides to support women and girls and shine a light on the many spaces where more work must be done.
She has extensive experience in efforts to empower women, including launching a programme with Girls Inc designed to support empowerment, community-building, positive body image, and eating disorder awareness.
Outside of work, Elysa loves spending time with her temperamental cat, any activity that one can do in and around large bodies of water, riding her Yamaha Vino through the mountains and buying web domains as she dreams up new ventures that may or may not ever come to fruition.
