Senior Associate
Gabriel is a Senior Associate with the Europe team at the Centre for Public Impact.
He joined the CPI team in 2022.
Gabriel was awarded a BA in International Development from the University of Sussex and Master of Public Administration in Innovation, Public Policy and Public Value – Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose from University College London.
Gabriel has completed several prestigious programmes, including the School for International Futures’ Strategic Foresight Retreat, which focuses on long-term strategic planning, and the Danish Design Centre’s Designing Narratives and Evoking Change, a course on leveraging storytelling and design to drive change.
Gabriel also trained with Brink’s Innovation Missions, powered by Behavioural Sciences, learning to apply behavioural science to innovation, and with IDEO’s Human-Centred Systems Thinking, focusing on designing systems with a human-centred approach. Additionally, Gabriel completed Harvard Business School’s Disruptive Strategy, gaining insights into managing business disruption, and the TWAS-AAAS Science Diplomacy program, which explores the role of science in international diplomacy.
He was president at Instituto del Futuro, and has previously been a Visiting Researcher (Master’s programme placement) at Danish Design Centre
Gabriel believes in the power of government to spark change which is why he is particularly proud of how CPI supports governments and public services to catalyse innovation, work relationally and think strategically.
In his leisure time, Gabriel enjoys long walks with friends, travelling to new places and a good cup of coffee to start his day
