Gwendolyn Casazza (she/her/ella)

Programme Director, Europe

Gwendolyn Casazza is Programme Director for Europe at Centre for Public Impact.

She joined the CPI team in 2024.

Gwendolyn holds a Masters Degree in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Masters in Public Administration from UCL’s Institute of Innovation and Public Purpose.

Gwendolyn is passionate about CPI’s commitment to reimagining innovation in its broadest sense, encompassing transformative shifts that place learning and collaboration at the forefront, challenge systemic inequality and centre communities in designing solutions.

An example of this commitment is the work being done in collaboration with Google.org to support workers impacted by workforce transitions brought on by AI. Through this partnership, Gwendolyn and her team are working with a diverse range of non-profit and civil society organisations across Europe to equip workers with foundational AI knowledge and tools for long-term positive professional outcomes.

Gwendolyn values the ability to continue learning. Returning to graduate school during the Covid lockdown was transformative for her.

She is an avid listener of podcasts and enjoys reading both non-fiction and fiction in her spare time, appreciating how these activities help her develop new ideas and perspectives.

On most Monday evenings, you can find her swimming at Cambridge’s Jesus Green lido, one of the longest outdoor swimming pools in Europe. She finds it especially invigorating to swim during the winter!
