Programme Manager, Climate Change Initiative
Jane Urheim is a Programme Manager with the Climate Change Initiative at the Centre for Public Impact.
She joined the CPI team in 2022.
Jane holds a BA in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University and an MPA from the London School of Economics.
Jane is passionate about supporting governments to accelerate climate action through systems change. She has previous experience working on policy research, program design, and policy advocacy across environmental and climate NGOs and a U.S. state government. She started her career supporting biotech start-ups on communications and raising capital.
Jane deeply believes in the power of relationships and bringing people together. She views relationship-building and collaboration as essential to strengthening governments’ approaches to complex challenges like climate change.
At CPI, Jane has seen how new relationships within government and with folks outside of government can transform how local government operates and better meets residents’ needs.
In her leisure time, Jane likes to cook; read fiction, especially sci-fi; and spend time outdoors hiking, playing tennis, or playing ultimate frisbee.
