Senior Programme Manager, North America
Kate Stenclik is a Senior Programme Manager with the North America team at the Centre for Public Impact.
She joined CPI in 2021.
Kate has a BA from Cornell University, where she majored in Human Development and minored in Inequality Studies. She also received a Masters’ in Public Policy from Harvard University, John F Kennedy School of Government .
Prior to joining CPI, Kate spent several years working in the public and non-profit sectors. She led bilingual workforce development programming with All Our Kin, managed fundraising projects for the City of New Haven, and taught second grade. Most recently, she worked with the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, researching and developing policy recommendations to advance equal rights in the United States.
Kate is passionate about partnering with governments and community organisations to shift traditional power dynamics, strengthen trust, and build thriving communities. As a former public and non-profit practitioner, she’s seen the difference it can make when community members are an active part of governance and decision-making – policies/projects are more equitable, community-building and effective than they otherwise would have been.
In her leisure time, Kate enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors and reading.
