Senior Associate
Leselle Vincent is a Senior Associate with the North America team at the Centre for Public Impact.
She joined the CPI team in 2022.
Leselle was awarded an MPA in Development Practice at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, and a BSc in Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Leselle is excited to start volunteering with the Covenant House, New Jersey, which directly serves homeless youth between the ages of 18-21.
Previously, she mentored underserved youth in Atlanta through leadership of the ENGAGES Engineering Track program at Georgia Tech Research Institute and through volunteering with Thrive Youth Development Inc.
Leselle loves engaging with city leaders, hearing about the work that they do and finding ways to impact the communities that they serve. While partnering with King County Metro, she was able to lead interviews with Metro staff and learn about their roles, challenges they face and opportunities to create value. These discussions helped Leselle and a systems mapping expert to piece together a systems map that demonstrated Metro’s complexity and areas where their operations could be improved.
In her leisure time, Leselle loves to sing (not in front of people though), and watch people and dogs. Her new apartment has a huge window that offers her the opportunity to look out at the world and observe neighbours and passers-by as they go about their day-to-day lives. This keeps her grounded in the importance of the work that she does at CPI – to help regular city-dwellers like those in her neighbourhood.
Examples of Leselle’s work include:
Project management of Understanding the Transformative Potential of Grassroots Energy Solutions
Contributed to Parks as Infrastructure
