Lidya Stamper (she/her/hers)

Senior Associate

Lidya Stamper is a Senior Associate with the Europe team at Centre for Public Impact.

She joined CPI in 2022.

Lidya is driven by a commitment to centring marginalised voices in policy and public service design. She holds a BA in Public Policy and International Relations from the University of Redlands and an MSc in Social Research Methods from the London School of Economics.
During her Fulbright Fellowship in South Africa, she examined how legal frameworks for sexual and reproductive health services often fall short of serving marginalised communities. Her research underscored that structural barriers—like weak policy implementation, socio-economic hurdles, and medical xenophobia—demand not only policy support but also nuanced, intersectional approaches to health service delivery. This experience reaffirmed her belief in the importance of grounding policy in the lived realities of those it aims to serve.
Lidya’s career has spanned work with local governments, international non-profits, and human rights institutions, leveraging co-design and participatory methods to bridge gaps between marginalised communities and decision-makers.
Since joining Centre for Public Impact as a Senior Associate, she has worked with local governments and philanthropic organisations to reimagine governance, funding, and service structures.
Outside of her professional work, Lidya finds inspiration in nature, enjoying activities like camping, backpacking, and cycling in the mountains.
