Mathilde Foged Jensen (she/her)

Senior Associate

Mathilde Foged Jensen is a Senior Associate with the Europe team at Centre for Public Impact.

She joined CPI in 2022.

Mathilde has a BA in Human, Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge Sciences and an MPA from Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose from UCL.

She previously worked in policy and advocacy at Amnesty International in Denmark during a period when the country began revoking permission for Syrian refugees to stay. A highlight of her experience was collaborating with the international secretariat to collect evidence from Syria and build policy campaigns aimed at overturning decisions by the Refugee Appeals Board, ultimately preventing the deportation of Syrian people.

At CPI, she works on the AI Opportunity Fund: Europe, which addresses AI’s impact on the labour market by equipping vulnerable workers and marginalised communities with foundational digital and AI skills.

Outside of work, Mathilde finds joy when she clips panniers onto her bike or straps her backpack belt on her waist, as she knows great adventures await her.

She loves exploring new places and cultures. When she was younger, Mathilde did a lot of backpacking and volunteering through Workaway. Recently, she’s enjoyed exploring places closer to home – especially in nature – and loves swimming in the sea, wild camping and biking, running, and hiking with good friends.

Some of Mathilde’s work includes “Seven tips for running your next impact challenge“.
