Senior Associate, Global Development Initiative
Naja Nelson is a Senior Associate with the Global Development Initiative at Centre for Public Impact.
She joined CPI in 2020.
Naja was awarded a BA in International Affairs with a focus on Global Development and a Spanish minor at George Washington University.
She has held leadership roles, including serving as the NAACP Chapter President, and gained valuable experience through internships with Rising for Justice, Save the Children, and the Peace Corps.
At CPI, Naja is passionate about work on government legitimacy, specifically the Earned Legitimacy Cohort work with Detroit, Government Innovation on the Bloomberg Harvard programme and the Global Development Initiative with Google AI for Global Goals Challenge.
She lives in Madrid and is enjoying deepening her understanding of the Spanish language.
In her leisure time, Naja likes painting, reality tv, reading, and cooking.
