
Chief Executive Officer
Nick is the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for Public Impact.
He joined the CPI team in 2025.
Since 2022, Nick has been a leadership coach, consultant, and senior advisor to several clients and partners. He has worked with the Forward Institute on responsible leadership and developed large-scale, community-centric mangrove restoration projects with West Africa Blue.
Nick previously held several leadership positions with the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) and the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative (AGI). He was part of the founding leadership team and later became CEO of AGI. Following the creation of TBI, he continued to lead and expand the work of advising governments across Africa before becoming Executive Director of Strategy, Culture, and Impact.
Nick has also been a civil servant and worked on EU policies at the heart of the UK Government and Brussels, including advising the PM’s EU Advisor and representing the UK in EU negotiations.
Nick has lived in West Africa for much of the last eight years, where his wife is a UK diplomat. They have three children, two cats, and one dog. In his spare time, Nick runs, reads, and enjoys traveling and watching football, particularly when Liverpool are winning.
