Interim Senior Director of Programmes, Europe
Susan is the Interim Senior Director of Programmes for Centre for Public Impact in North America.
She joined CPI in 2023 as a Programme Director.
Susan received a Master’s in Urban Planning: Real Estate/Urban Design at Harvard, as well as a Bachelor’s in History of Art and Architecture.
At CPI, Susan is passionate about improving the lives of people through expanding who and how the government serves. She is particularly interested in our work with SAVES Centers, to better serve those experiencing domestic violence while needing child support services.
Susan has always been committed to community involvement. Her first job out of college was going door to door organising with Vietnamese and Spanish speaking businesses to advocate for Bus Rapid Transit in San Jose and Oakland.
Susan’s friends describe her as “a scrappy one who gets things done”. Her work at New Urban Mechanics included the creation of the coffee cart RPF at the entrance of Boston City Hall, which the became a place for government staff to connect.
Susan is a maker at heart. She enjoys creating art, admiring furniture, cooking for family and friends, designing Halloween costumes, and lazing around warm weather locations with her husband.
