Global Associate, Communications and Impact
Yoshita Srivastava is a Global Associate with the Communications and Impact team at the Centre for Public Impact.
She joined the CPI team in 2024.
Yoshita has a Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, a major in literary and culture studies and a minor in journalism. She also completed a certificate course in digital campaigning from Social Movement Technologies.
She contributed to the abortion rights movement by developing a media guide for abortion news coverage in collaboration with a well-known Indian feminist publication. She was also part of a cohort of peer support volunteers offering emotional support through one-on-one sessions to LGBTQIA+ individuals in India.
Yoshita is deeply passionate about CPI’s vision to reimagine government so that it works for everyone, which resonates strongly with her own values as a social impact advocate. Yoshita believes that storytelling is a powerful tool for driving change and highlighting social justice issues.
In her leisure time, Yoshita enjoys spending time with family and friends, and enjoying delicious food brings her so much joy. She loves escaping into fantasy worlds and can often be found lost in a novel or watching a period drama in her free time. She also finds great pleasure in what she calls her “granny” hobbies of baking and knitting!
Some of the work Yoshita is most proud of includes:
Producing the Abort the Stigma podcast.
“PDA: Slippery Slope from Law to Moral Policing”
“Post #MeToo, What Are Young Entrants To The Workplace Thinking?”
